As a reminder, the DriveScale solution disaggregates the processing and storage resources in separate pools and then composes them flexibly under the control of the administration software, the real heart of the solution.
The resulting performance is equivalent to those of directly attached storage (DAS or Direct Attached Storage) and does not require any adaptation of the software stack thus responding to changes of a load according to the applications or the tasks requested.
